The Secret Lives of Rocks

The Singapore Show: Future Proof
Singapore Art Museum at 8Q, Singapore
14 January – 15 April 2012

Interested in the formation of crystals, The Secret Lives of Rocks were drawings meant to document the process of growing a crystal cluster. Using the layering of paper, mimicking compression and burn mark-making techniques for the intense heat built up from the pressure, these techniques used for the drawings were meant to draw a parallel to the formation of crystals.
